Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a journeyman tattoo artist with previous 2 years apprenticeship under a journeyman artist. Candidate must have extensive portfolio of custom artwork. They must also be fully versed in the various aspects of properly laying pigment for the best dermatological effect. Candidate must be cognizant of and trained in bloodborne pathogens and sterilization techniques. A full knowledge of the operation and tuning of tattoo equipment as well as all aspects of art preparation. Applicants must also be knowledgeable of the proper aftercare of new tattoo artwork and able to articulate same to customers. Cash conciliation and customer service and sales skills would also be an asset. Applicant must be clean and presentable commensurate with our clientele, in good health, and free of any substance abuse issues. This is non negotiable. Second language skills also an asset.
