We do offer TATTOO "Walk in Day" Saturdays, that are first come first serve. So those unable to book an appoinment can come in on the walk in day. Expect to line up for a few hours before we open, as it is very busy.
If you are interested in getting a body piercing, please call in and book an appointment.
It is better if you can book an appointment with your chosen artist and have a little bit more focused and relaxing tattoo experience. If there are special artistic considerations, please give us lots of time to develop the art work for you.
If you need some help with your tattoo please feel free to drop in and chat with Bear, Chris, Morgan, John or Enrique and if you have questions regarding body piercing, have a chat with Nic. We are all here to help you with your body modifications.
BEAR

Bear has been involved in the tattoo industry since the late 70's and brings a strong, traditional foundation as well as an innovative modern approach to body art, to an ever expanding clientele. Bear has had the good fortune to meet many people in the tattoo community who have been very supportive and instrumental in Bear's continued improvement and constantly renewed interest in dermagraphic art. Most importantly, his clients are the ones that he thanks the most for being there over the years, and giving him the opportunity to learn and grow artistically with their blessing and support. Thank you all.
Being involved in Asian studies, martial arts, and Asian philosophy since his youth, Bear's eastern perspective on life, has been instrumental in his tattooing specialty. His constant drive for the fullness of life, make him a dynamic artist, with emotional flair, and continual change. Bear's continual cross cultural expansion of his artistic horizon enable him to remain flexible and diverse depending on a clients personal tattoo needs. If you aren't going a 150 miles per hour you will never keep up so don't try. |

CHRIS

Chris, accredited in both art and music, came to Bear's in 2003 looking for a tattoo appenticeship and by the end of 2005 had won his first tattoo award at the Edmonton Tattoo & Arts Feastival. His friendly approach and unique style of art has earned him a loyal clientel who consider him to be one of Edmonton's finest inkslingers.
The quality of work that Chris aspires to is a direct reflection of the standards that Bear has tried to maintain for all these years in the industry.
An Alberta boy born and raised, Chris has a perchant for trucker hats, belt buckles and if you ask nicely, he just might show you his collection of tractor drawings. When he is not tattooing or drawing (a rare event), he loves spending time with his friends and family and plays guitar in the local rock group Them Damn Coyotes. |

MORGAN

Morgan has approached tattooing with a passion, seen in both his work and his professionalism. Having apprenticed under Bear himself, the staff has become his family and the studio his second home. Morgan displays a crazy person's
drive to continually improve his tattooing, from diving into many secondary mediums to countless hours spent building and tuning his own tattoo machines. Morgan has tried to learn something from everyone at the shop, past, current and probably future. His respect for this medium never ceases and he hopes to be tattooing for a long, long time. On a fun note, Morgan enjoys zombie movies and wonders why after playing guitar for more then 10 years, he still isn't any good. |

JOHN

Bear on John: His work ethic, ability to understand the needs of his clients, and his focus on detail make him an excellent asset to the studio Bear says "John truly encompasses all the atributes of a great tattoo arts, and a great person! I am very proud to work with him".
Morgan on John: If I was Tom Cruise, John would be my Renee Zellwegger.
John on John: A shockingly unbiased 1973 documentary directed by Edward Laughton about life in the streets and the men who roam them at night. |

 Nic

bio

Nic is a great guy and an excellent piercer. Clean, knowledgeable and friendly. But enough about that. Remember in Aliens when Bill Paxton's character says, "Game over man! Game over!" and he's all whiney but still totally awesome because, hey, Bill Paxton, right? And then you go on ebay and look for tshirts with his Aliens character on it and you find one and it has GAME OVER printed on it in big red letters and you're super stoked, but you don't buy it because it was made in China for 30 cents and the picture cracks and peels after you put it in the dryer like, one time?
Yeah, me too.
